So, Baisley could use your help. Baisley is an 8 year old Great Pyrenees who has been with us for about a month. She came in exceptionally emaciated as her owner had died and no one found her for a while. She came in at roughly 45 pounds which is half what she should weigh.

She also has some health issues which we have battled. One is a skin infection which requires pretty massive daily care because it's a form of MRSA. It has almost healed and this will be behind her soon. She looks forward to an end of all the daily scrubs, as do I. She also has seizures which are closer to being controlled. These aren't your go limp and shake kind of seizures, these are more like bark like you're being stabbed and shake like you're freezing to death kind of seizures and it was scary. We've got these almost ended with meds and with some weight gain, they may go away altogether. Hopefully.

She also has synovial sarcoma on her left back hock which will have to be removed. It's not a high grade tumor so this isn't likely to kill her unless we leave it. The problem has been that her weight is so low, she has been too thin to risk major surgery.

She is not an inexpensive dog and we're expecting bills into the $4K range to get her through the first part of this. She deserves a happily ever after because the last two months have rocked her universe pretty hard. She is sweet, gentle and kind and she has some really good years left to go. Help us help her get to that happy forever.

Today was bath day for my husky pack. Ari is super happy to be clean. I am sure she feels great because between her and Na’Kai, we brushed off an entire dog of loose fur. 😳😯

I love going on adventures with my doggos. Our favorite adventure is a hike in the woods anywhere with water, like Patapsco or Double Rock. Then, we play in the water before hiking back home.
