Mikey and I are loving the breeze and sun today ☀️
A few reminders for all the lovely and caring pet owners as we transition into summer:
🔆 If it's too hot for you, it's probably too hot for your pet. Keep an eye and ear out for signs of overheating (excessive panting, vomiting, lethargy, etc.)
🔆 Remember to bring water for you and your pups if you're heading out for a long walk or hike, and do your best to stick to the shade on the hotter days
🔆 Feel the ground! Use the back of your hand to monitor the pavement - if you can't keep it there for more than 5 seconds, it is likely too hot for their paws
🔆 Be sure to follow the general guidelines for your specific breed and size of dog, as well as any existing health issues
Stay safe! And remember to reach out to your pet sitters to request any summer bookings you may not have gotten around to yet 🐕🐈⬛️🦜
