Hi dog park friends! Due to the massive amount of snow, there has been a delay in plowing the parking lot. We are hoping to have the lot cleared tonight or early tomorrow. A post will be made to let everyone know when it is done. Until then we hope everyone enjoys the snow day!

Update on the gazebo in the big area: this is an Eagle Scout project by one of our local teens. There was a several-years-old, unused grant awarded to the park by Global Foundries. Much time, thought, planning, and huge effort has been put into this project. It is not yet done, there are plans for a u-shaped bench for 3 sides so we may relax in comfort. Unfortunately the recent strong wind storms made the bracing that’s pictured necessary until the benches are built so that the structure remains straight and stabilized. Please be patient, this will be so worth it once complete! I will try to keep an update posted in case the big area needs to be closed for construction again. If they show up to work while you’re there please understand and move to one of the other two play areas. Once the project is complete there will be a plaque installed honoring our local new Eagle Scout!
