On April 30th my best friend of 15 years was put down. I’ve been pretty quiet because I’ve been grieving in my own way. 15 beautiful years along side a wonderful companion who saw me grow and change in so many ways. I was 18, now 33 and one thing was always constant- the love of my Brownie Cakes.
Today my niece gifted me this blanket and my heart melted. Thank you ……literally crying rn 🥹

Graduation celebration for Sake, Maple, and Papas! 🎓🐾

This trio came in ready to work and made it count. From building solid obedience to sharpening focus and consistency, Sake, Maple, and Papas each showed their own kind of progress and personality along the way. Watching them grow into more confident, well-mannered pups has been such a win. We’re proud of every one of them! 🐶✨

Meanwhile, Pleiades and Bear have been enjoying their boarding stay with us. Plenty of playtime, structure, and tail wags as they settle into the routine and wrap up their time here. Another fun and fulfilling week with an awesome crew! 💛🐾

Frustration plays a bigger role in your dog’s behavior than most owners realize. When dogs are unable to access what they want like attention movement or interaction it builds internal pressure that eventually comes out as barking jumping or pulling 🐾

Apollo came in full speed and full volume 🐾

Graduation spotlight on Apollo! 🎓🐾

Apollo came in ready to learn and truly rose to the challenge. Day by day this pup built stronger focus, cleaner obedience, and the kind of confidence that makes training really shine. It’s been awesome watching Apollo put in the work and grow into a more polished and reliable companion. We’re proud of this graduate! 🌟🐶

Meanwhile, Maya and Macho have been enjoying their boarding stay with us. Lots of playtime, structure, and good vibes as they spend their days hanging out with the crew and soaking up the routine. Another fun week with some great pups! 🐾💛

Most dogs are not trying to be stubborn. They are trying to figure out what works. Dogs do not understand long sentences. They understand what gets repeated, what gets rewarded, and what happens after a cue.

If recall only works sometimes, if loose leash walking is a battle, or if your dog loses it around people and dogs, that is feedback. The training is not clear enough yet or the environment is too hard too soon.
