Thanks to the generous donation of enrichment items from our amazing supporters, Spirit, our resident bald eagle, got to pass along some of the fun to one of our California condors, "324", who has been loving every minute of it!

Enrichment plays an important role in the daily care of the animals at CALM Zoo. It encourages natural behaviors, keeps animals mentally and physically engaged, and provides new opportunities to explore their environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who helps make moments like these possible. Your generosity helps us provide the very best care for the animals that call CALM Zoo home.

Don't let their small size fool you!

Collared lizards are quick, agile, and packed with personality. Their bright colors, incredible speed, and unique ability to run on two legs make them one of the most fascinating reptiles you'll find at CALM Zoo.

Have you spotted our collared lizards during your visit?

The heart of CALM Zoo will always be our animals, and our Legacy Campus is no exception.

As part of CALM Zoo's Master Plan, the Legacy Campus will feel familiar while becoming more inviting than ever. Every habitat throughout the Legacy Campus is planned to receive major enhancements, creating larger, more enriching spaces that support the wellbeing of the animals while enhancing the guest experience.

Highlights include an expanded habitat for our bighorn sheep, the addition of American river otters in the Riparian Zone, and improvements throughout the campus that celebrate California's incredible native wildlife.

By investing in every habitat, we're building on CALM Zoo's legacy that generations have loved.
