We know it’s been quiet around here, and we wanted to take a moment to share why. Life has been busy — between school and some personal changes, we’ve had to step back for a bit. While we haven’t been able to take on dogs directly, we’ve still been working behind the scenes to help network pups in need.

Rescue is our heart and this is just a pit stop. We’ll be back in full force soon, ready to continue fighting for the ones who need us most.

Thank you for sticking with us, for your patience, and for your continued support of the dogs. We couldn’t do this without you. 🐶❤️

Feel good story about a dog named Fudge we were able to help 💕

I wanted to take a moment to share my story about my boy “Fudge”. In 2024 on Mothers Day I rescued a couple of French Bulldogs that were in a bad situation. I was able to get home for all the beautiful puppies except for one for some reason. This little guy had a hold of me and I knew he was meant to be with me. After a few days of having my boy Fudge I knew there was something that just wasn’t right. I noticed his bowel movements were not right. So after a vet visit and having a f***l exam done, we had found out that our boy fudge was positive for a parasite called. “Giardia”. Fudge was treated but treatment did not work . So after about seven months of constant f***l exams and treatments medication was failing. Our vet then told us our boy needed to be seen by a specialist. We did not have the money to take our boy to a specialist. My heart was so broken, knowing that my dogs health was at risk, and knowing there is nothing else that I can do for him was extremely heartbroken. I was to the point where I knew that the only thing I could do was to rehome him to a family that was able to afford to get him the treatment that was needed. But I couldn’t do that because I loved him so much and I knew he was meant to be part of our family. After weeks of reaching out to rescue centers and two other sources, I came across “Pit Opotamus puppy rescue”. After telling them my story and what has been going on I heard the beautiful words. “ Don’t worry we are going to help you”. So fast forward after a year of battling this horrible parasite my boy Fudge is now parasite free and on his new journey to being healthy. I honestly don’t know what we would have done if it wasn’t for them I could not stand the thought of having to surrender my boy to someone else, but now I don’t, and my heart is full of so much joy because of. Pit Opotamus puppy rescue. I felt it was a need for everyone to hear my story and I wanted to let everybody know you don’t have to give up on your animals. There is help out there. You just gotta put the heart and soul into it like I did. Pit Opotamus puppy rescue truly cares about animals they will bend backwards to make sure no dog or cat will be sick or homeless. I have been working with this Rescue Center for a few months with my dog fudge and I’ve learned so much from them. I will learn that their hearts are bigger than you can imagine. I’ve learned that they truly do care about families being able to keep their pets I would love for everybody to put the word out and share my story about this Rescue Center. Make a donation reach out to them. They are truly amazing people and because of them my boy fudge is healthy and able to still be here with us and for that I will forever be thankful.

Meet Bruce, our big bundle of joy! This handsome guy is full of energy and doesn’t realize just how big he is! He loves to run and play, and sometimes walking on a leash can be a bit of a challenge because he gets so excited. He just adores tight hugs and loves having his face squished! Watching him run around brings me so much joy—he’s like a big, lovable butterball of fun!

Bruce would thrive in an active family that can provide him with some structure. I truly believe he would make an amazing companion for someone special. If you can help this charming boy find his forever home, please reach out! His time at the shelter is running out.
