We hope this message finds you and your pets well! We'd like to share some important updates with you. Beginning September 1st, 2025, our office will close for lunch during the following times:
Monday: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Tuesday: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Wednesday: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Thursday: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Also beginning September 1st, 2025, we will no longer process prescription verification requests from outside pharmacies.
What does this mean for you and your pets?
We understand that convenience and cost-effectiveness are essential when it comes to your pet's medications. To ensure the best care for your beloved companions, we offer convenient options for obtaining your pet's prescription medications:
Written Prescriptions: We will gladly provide a written prescription for a $5.00 fee, which can be picked up at our hospital. Please confirm with your pharmacy if a paper copy is acceptable before making your request.
In-Hospital Purchases: For your convenience, we offer the option to purchase prescription medications directly from our hospital. This allows you to receive your pet's medications immediately after your appointment without any extra steps. You may also request prescription refills to be picked up at our hospital by phone or email.
Online Pharmacy: To provide you with additional flexibility, we have our own online pharmacy. You can order your pet's prescription medications online at www.lostriveranimalhospital.com and have them delivered to your home. We are competitively priced with major online pharmacies, providing you with a cost-effective option. Your pet's medical records also sync to our online pharmacy, ensuring faster, more convenient prescription management.
We believe that these options offer you the convenience you need while also ensuring the highest level of care and safety for your pets. While we will no longer work directly with third-party online pharmacies, we are committed to providing you with accessible and reliable options for obtaining your pet's medications.
Common Questions:
What if I already have a prescription with additional refills at an outside pharmacy?
Continue to use your refills until they run out. When it's time to request a new prescription, you will need to contact our clinic to receive it using one of the options above. If you prefer to continue using an outside pharmacy, you will need to obtain a paper copy of your prescription in our office for a fee of $5.00
How do I set up an account with your online pharmacy?
Visit our pharmacy at https://lostriveranimalhospital.securevetsource.com/site/view/site/view/HomeDelivery.pml?retUrl=http://lostriveranimalhospital.com&cms= and select the "account" link on the upper right of the page. Choose the "create account" option and enter your information.
