Hunting season is now getting in high gear..........Quail populations looking good and our gun dogs and in shape and ready to get after them. 2015 was a wash for the most part..............took a year to recover from an injury that left me not able to do alot of stuff. New things in the works...........as soon as it gets a bit cooler the dogs have to get after the birds in the upland fields. We are all needing to get back in shape.........everything is looking good.........great number of turkeys on the property as well as three large coveys of quail and a good many deer, all enjoying what we have provided mostly with the preservation of natures choices of nutrition as it should be. Thanks to Ga. D N R for their reccomendations and guidance. It is paying off. The deer are really enjoying those green leaf briars, and our feed plot offerings, etc.
