Whew!! Deer season is officially over and we want to extend our utmost appreciation to our customers for another amazing year!

Although the season is over, we are still hard at work processing and making sausage, so we would also like to thank you for your patience as we finish up the remaining orders.

As rifle season is coming to a close (relax, you still have until Thursday, January 15th), we would like to remind everyone that we will only accept "cooler deer" from January 16th until January 31st.

We are so grateful for every deer that has been brought in to us, so THANK YOU to all of our customers!!

Time to dust off those rifles and get in the woods!! This weekend, October 4th and 5th, all hunters are allowed to kill an antlerless deer with a rifle, so we thought it would be fun to have a little competition!

Only Does will be eligible and the rules are simple:
Must be harvested and brought in to SR Taxidermy and Deer Processing on Saturday, Oct 4th or Sunday, Oct 5th. The weight will be taken by one of our skinners, using our scales. The hunter with the heaviest Doe will win a FREE "Standard Cut" on that deer.

We look forward to seeing our hunters again this year and want to wish everyone a safe and successful deer season!

Man I’d be happy with ether one of those this season for sure. I really like both of these forms. Just remember if you harvest a trophy and like these type of manikins it takes a little more cape than usual. Cut it a little longer. Mid body should be enough. If we can help lets us know.
