National Pet Choking Prevention Day- Fit dog walk on June 22- July 3rd 2026
1 mile walk
This is a critical mission to educate pet parents worldwide about everyday choking hazards. Sticks , small balls and rocks are common for this . Dogs can have fun with these things but we need to be aware of what to do just in case of a freak incident of choking that happens.

July is soon upon us with the fireworks ( be prepared).
Walks and runs are always free.
Just record the distance and date on an app like Track My Trails, Fit Bit , GPS device, or even Google maps on your phone or Ipad. . .
When submitting please include the dogs AKC number and registered name or if they are applying for a number let us know so can be noted on the paperwork .
Will need the address and zip code of where the walk was done , and owner's name. picture of the device or a screenshot of the app recording the distance with date and time on it .
A walk and a run can be done on the same day. But have to be walked/ran separarately and recorded separately.
Two dogs can be walked/run at once. .

Spring has matured and Summer is coming into sight.
National Dog Party Day unleashes joy every June, marking a special occasion to celebrate our beloved canine companions. Gather your pups, invite their furry friends, and plan a day filled with treats, games, and plenty of tail wags. Whether it’s a backyard bash or a simple walkalong playdate, make it memorable for your four-legged family members!

Her early puppyhood raising, training and acclimation by her breeder has paid off as she seamlessly went into the Star Puppy classes with her new handler in Bailey. She had not seen a cavaletti set up before but was not phased one whit.
