Full-Time Position Available
RockView Farm is seeking a full-time employee starting May 1st, 2025 to assist with daily farm chores and our string of show horses. We are a family-oriented facility that focuses on turning show horses out for junior exhibitor riders, amateur riders and owners. We also work with young horses in developing their show career and finding the right path for them.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Daily feeding
- Cleaning and re-bedding stalls
- Getting a string of show horses ready to work daily
- Working with young horses
- Potential to travel to horse shows
- Packing and unpacking the horse trailer
- Assisting with riding lessons
Must haves:
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Show up on time
- Be able to lift and/or carry at least 50lbs
Preference given to those who have experience with young horses and/or show horse experience. Willing to train the right candidate. Option to have a 5.5 day work schedule or 6 day work schedule. One hour lunch break each full day of work. No housing provided, but have the ability for a camper/rv/living quarter hook-up.
