AKC Fit Dog Level One indoor Classes
to start in early January Sunday the 4th on Crow Hill over by 285. Adult dogs all ages old or young, pups 6 months and older .
Indoor fitness courses to help up keep their brains engaged and use their obedience training in new ways for indoor exercises to help them maintain health and fitness. Helps teach focus and targeting .
They need basics in on leash commands- sit, down, stay, and come to get full benefit of this class . They will learn the stand stay in this class as well as a bunch of other cool movements. Also a great foundation for later trick dog training purposes .

Dogs must have proof of current shots to participate.
Call or text 720-761-8170 (no voice mail) for price, to reserve a spot, and get details of where the class will be held and time.
Class size is limited.

Must take level one classes to take the more advanced level 2 and 3 courses that will be offered later in the new year . if you have taken a level one somewhere else just bring the certificate of completion when Level 2 becomes available .

First Star Puppy class being held by the Crow Hill Vet Paws For Health AKC FIt Dog Club at the Crowhill Veterinary Services. This winter there will be CGC classes and possibly more Star Puppy classes.

CHVPFH National Senior Pet Month Fit Dog Run 1 mile ( can be walked) Nov 2nd - Nov 20th .
Our old dogs are our Jewels and Gems we have cultivated over their lifetime . Like a comfortable set of shoes well worn and with a memory on each grey hair from a life well lived. Keeping them fit and healthy up's their quality of life in their later years. Love them and run them at their pace .

All walks/runs are free
Keep your dog fit healthy and happy . Yes you can walk more than one dog at a time and it count. .
So you can split up the distance if you need to, just document how far you went each day.

Keep a record of your walk with an electronic device like GPS, Fit Paws/ Phone app/ Dog FitnessTracker, Fit Bit. Take picture of device with recorded distance with the dog/dogs at end of walk. Dog/dogs pictured next to device like a GPS will work. Records can be sent to me as a CGC evaluator of the FIT DOG Club to count for points for the new AKC FIT Dog Title via private message .

As we take the wonderful memories of the year forward , we meet and share with friends and family. Our puppies of the year are growing up fast . Let's keep them active even as the weather is getting crisper. All walks runs are free

Keep in mind hunting season is upon us, this opens for certain big game as of Sept 1st in most states . So if in the woods on a Fit dog walk be aware especially on public lands in the back country to stay visible and keep your dog visible and identifyable for safety. Have fun out there!!!

For more walks and runs for the AKC Fit Dog titles you can also look at https://www.facebook.com/libertystridesfitdogclub/ in the southern foothills of Colorado to have access for more monthly virtual walks and runs with the Liberty Strides AKC Fit Dog Club. A new Colorado Fit Dog club.
They also can periodically offer classes in various activities like Fetch for the fetch trials ,Therapy dog etiquette, Parachute wind resistance training , as well as other AKC family dog titles and activities such as Farm Dog. .

Group Virtual Fit Dog Walk 2nd annual
~Sunset Sunrise Walk 4 Cool~ ,1 mile ,Aug 20rd - Sept 7th 2025 .
Dusk and dawn are lovely times to go for a walk.
Watch their feet.
If you have turf lawns surprising how hot those get.
They cool/sweat through their feet so walking on wet surfaces can help. DM me for submitting mileage and information to get the Fit Dog walk paperwork you need to keep and how to submit it .

Show Off Your Happy Pup Run!! Aug 3rd to Aug 18th 2025

Some do so with ribbons and tricks. But to do so they have to be fit and healthy . Walking or running and keeping them active is a way to keep them ready for any adventure you ask of them. Some of us will be getting them in condition to hunt this winter or competing in the summer dock diving with the NADD . Others will be getting ready for the fall and winter dog shows in the many venues out there . Have fun guys!! That is the most important with your healthy happy doggers. Your vet will apreciate seeing a fit healthy happy pest on their tables when you bring them in for their yearly exams. Prevention is everything.
