The AKC FIT DOG Star-Spangled Scurry is a virtual 5K (3.1 miles) for dogs and their owners celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The non-competitive 5K Star-Spangled Scurry can be done all at one time, or in smaller segments on multiple days so that everyone (people and dogs) can participate at their own pace. This can be a walk or run activity.

As part of the AKC’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, a portion of every Star-Spangled Scurry medal purchase will be donated to the United States War Dogs Association. Founded by military dog handlers, the organization supports active-duty K-9 teams, assists retired military working dogs, and preserves the legacy of the canine heroes who have served alongside our nation’s armed forces.

Participate in the Virtual 5K with your dog. Enjoy a non-competitive event celebrating the 250th anniversary of America.

The Obedience level 1 class graduated today. CGC tests taken and passed for the three eligible They all get their completion certificates for the Obedience Level 1 . Whisper could not test today as her owner was the teacher.. Oh well she will get it later this year with ease in southern Colorado.

Level 2 Obedience is slated for Wed April 8th 5 PM 1.5 hour class 6 weeks. if anyone wants to bail in you can call or message at 720-761-8170. Be happy to have ya .
