I just booked Jasmine for February 20th for her heartworm test. If your dog is well-mannered with people, this is an amazing opportunity to help the vet students gain hands-on experience while getting your pet’s vaccines done at no cost. They take one dog at a time, so the environment is calm and controlled. 🐾💉

👉 Important: You must bring a copy of your dog’s most recent vet records in order to participate.

Jasmine will not be going in for surgery for her mast cell tumor at this time. For anyone unfamiliar, mast cell tumors can act almost like shape-shifters — one day they look big, the next they shrink, fade, or disappear. This happens because they release histamines and other chemicals into the skin, causing swelling and inflammation that comes and goes.

Right now, the tumor isn’t visible, and with our vet’s guidance we’ll be keeping a close eye on the area and monitoring for any changes. Jasmine is comfortable, and feeling good 🥰🐾💛 Thank you to everyone who has checked in on her. Your love means so much. 💛🐾
