Yesterday Mohawk turned 2 years old. He is a big, solid c**t. He continues to earn his stallion prospect title with his soft disposition. He is very sensitive—I do not need to ask loudly, he responds to small gestures. He prefers me so desensitizing with other handlers is in his future. He stands just shy of 16.2h.

“Saphyre’s Misty Rain Song”—Misty.
She needs no introduction but I love sharing her story.
When I first met Debbie Jeppesen I fell in love with two of her horses. A stallion (Skye, now in Joplin, MO) & Misty. Skye & Misty are half siblings, sharing the same sire: Generator’s Dr Blue.
In my option, I had found the jackpot of genetics. Big bone, big brains & big color. I admired Misty as one of the finest mares at Walkers on Water. Fast forward to 2022, Debbie offered us the opportunity to bring Misty home due to her needing forage low in sugar.
I never thought I’d be so lucky to take care of such a horse. I’m thankful every day to Misty’s steady heart & Debbie for entrusting me with her.
We now own a half sibling to Misty (Mohawk) & will bring home her granddaughter (Apache) in May from Debbie.

This kind mare has come so far since we bought her 4 years ago. From fixing holes in training to realizing it was pain reaction, she continues to prove her mind is sound & her heart is large.
