📚🐴 School Schedule is Almost Fully Set! 🐴📚

School is starting, and our lesson schedule is almost completely filled in!

Have you grabbed your regular lesson slot yet? If not, now is the time! 😊

We have a variety of group and private lesson options available, but spots are filling up quickly.

One important reminder: not all horses are available for every time slot, so the horse you are riding will help determine which lesson time is the best fit.

Message me if you still need to get your spot scheduled! ❤️🐴

🐴 There’s a place for everyone at CT Ranch! ❤️

From our once-a-week riders to our true barn rats 😂🐴, we have so much to offer!

Whether you want to simply come ride once a week or be involved in everything we do, you get to choose how much you want to be part of the CT Ranch family!

✨ Riding Lessons
✨ Clinics
✨ Fun Shows
✨ Horse Club
✨ Winter Series
✨ Notta Shows
✨ Barn Parties
✨ Game Days & More!

Some riders love coming for their weekly lesson and heading home, while others want to spend every spare minute at the barn. 😆 And there’s room for both!

Our goal is to create a place where riders can learn, grow, build confidence, make friends, and most importantly—have fun with horses! ❤️

So whether you’re a once-a-week rider or a full-time barn rat… we’re glad you’re here! 🐴

🐴 THURSDAY MOTIVATION 🐴

You don’t have to be the best rider in the arena.
You don’t have to get everything right the first time.
You just have to keep showing up. 🤍

Every ride teaches you something. Every mistake gives you a chance to learn. Every little bit of progress adds up.

Trust the process. Be patient with yourself. Celebrate the small wins. And remember—confidence comes from doing, learning, and trying again. 💪🐎

Keep going. You’re making more progress than you think! ❤️

Our last “Notta Show” of the season was Friday, and it was SO much fun! 🐴❤️

So many laughs, smiles, and of course… lots of giggles! 😂

I love watching our riders get out there, try new things, cheer each other on, and just enjoy being around their horses and friends. These are the moments that make all the hard work worth it! 🥰🐎

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our last Notta Show such a fun one! We sure love our CT Ranch crew! ❤️

🐴 It’s Not Just About Getting Your Horse To Do What You Ask.

One of the biggest things we work on at CT Ranch is learning how to work with your horse, not just demand things from them.

There’s a difference between a horse that does something because they were forced to, and a horse that understands what you’re asking and is willing to work with you.

Good horsemanship means learning to:
✨ Communicate clearly
✨ Listen to your horse
✨ Recognize when they are confused or unsure
✨ Adjust your approach when something isn’t working
✨ Build trust and confidence
✨ Give your horse a chance to understand the question before expecting the answer

Sometimes the answer isn’t “ask harder.”
Sometimes it’s “ask differently.”

Our goal isn’t to create riders who simply know how to make a horse do something. We want to create riders who understand why they are asking, how to communicate effectively, and how to build a partnership with their horse.

Because when you learn to work with your horse, you’re not just teaching the horse—you’re becoming a better horseman. ❤️🐴

That partnership is where the real magic happens.

🐴 WHO YOU LEARN FROM MATTERS.

Something I believe very strongly in when it comes to horses is this:

Just because someone has ridden horses their whole life does not automatically mean they are qualified to teach others how to ride.

Experience matters. But there is a big difference between doing something and knowing how to teach it safely, correctly, and effectively to someone else.

You wouldn’t assume that someone who graduated high school is automatically qualified to teach high school. They may have completed the education themselves, but teaching requires additional knowledge, skills, training, and the ability to understand how different students learn.

Horsemanship is no different.

A good instructor should continually be learning, studying, improving their own horsemanship, understanding horse behavior, prioritizing safety, and learning how to communicate with riders at different skill levels.

And just because someone has been doing something for 20, 30, or even 40 years doesn’t necessarily mean they have been doing it correctly—or that they know how to teach it.

Years of experience are valuable. But experience + education + continued learning + the ability to teach = something much more meaningful.

When you put your child—or yourself—on a horse, who you choose to learn from matters.

Choose someone who is still willing to learn, not someone who believes they already know everything. ❤️🐎

At CT Ranch, we believe that being a good instructor means being a student for life.

🐴 TUESDAY AT CT RANCH! 🤠

A little dirt, a lot of horses, plenty of learning, and hopefully a whole bunch of smiles! ❤️

Every ride is an opportunity to build confidence, learn something new, and become a better horseman — one ride at a time.

Whether you're just starting out or working toward your next goal, we love watching our riders grow! 🌟

Keep learning. Keep riding. Keep having fun! 🐎

📚🍎 Back to School... Back to the Barn! 🐴❤️

As backpacks come out and school routines begin, don't forget to make time for what fills your cup.

Horseback riding gives kids so much more than time in the saddle. They build confidence, responsibility, patience, problem-solving skills, and friendships—all while getting outside and away from screens.

The school year can be busy and sometimes stressful, but the barn is a place where kids can take a deep breath, work toward goals, and leave feeling accomplished.

Whether your rider is just starting out or has been with us for years, we'd love to be part of their school-year routine.

🍂 Fall lesson spots are filling quickly! If you'd like to get on the schedule, send us a message today.

Here's to a school year full of learning, growth, and great rides! 🐎❤️

🎲❤️ MONTHLY GAME NIGHT AT CT RANCH! ❤️🎲

We absolutely LOVE having a place where we can gather, enjoy great company, make memories, and listen to the giggles that fill the night! 🥰

Game Night is more than just games—it’s friendships, laughter, and time together away from the screens. ✨

So thankful for the fun, the memories, and everyone who makes these nights so special! 🤠🐴🎲

CT Ranch — where friendships grow and the giggles never stop! ❤️
