Meet our beautiful Samoyed. KIMBER! 🩷

Kimber is a 2 year old puppy mill surrender who came to us this spring after escaping her former placement out of fear (as many puppy mill pups do). Tina Marie was involved in her rescue and felt compelled to foster her - so Kimber was transferred to Lucky Dawg to be with Tina!

Kimber did not have any puppies, but displays a lot of similar behaviors as our puppy mill mamas. She’s skittish and fearful at first, but as evidenced by the images and videos below, she has GREAT potential! She lives with 3 other dogs, 2 cats, and a 7 year old boy. Tina’s family has worked hard with Kimber - she went from not exiting their front room, to wandering into the living room to hang out with them, begging for food, and wrestling with the other dogs!

Kimber requires experienced, patient owners and a fenced in yard. She’s a great dog, but is going to need time to adjust and someone dedicated to exercising and loving her crazy. 🤣 She’s playful and fun, and is going to make a family SO happy!

The many ears of Momma Blueberry! 🫐🐾 She has the best expressions and the sweetest personality. ❤️

Blueberry and her 11 puppies were rescued from ACCT Philly last month, and all will be ready for adoption soon. While her pups are adorable, my personal favorite is Momma herself — she’s just a baby too, only 1–2 years old! Blueberry will be spayed in September and then officially ready for her forever home.

We’ll also be looking for a foster home for her once her puppies head off to their new families. Blueberry is dog-friendly, loves kids, adores squeaky toys, and is fully housebroken.

Look at this precious face 🩷! Chelsea was rescued from an Amish mill just two months ago. She’s now spayed and ready to find her forever home.

Chelsea is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is truly flourishing. She’s looking for a home with another friendly pup to show her the ropes, as well as a physically fenced yard where she can play and feel safe.

She can be a bit shy at first, but she’s learning quickly from her foster fur friends and gaining confidence every day.

Every year, Whitford Country Club members and friends come together to raise funds for local non-profit organizations. This year, we are thrilled to share that Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue has been chosen as one of the 10 Chester County grantees! We are deeply honored to be recognized alongside nine other incredible non-profits.

The generous grant from The Whitford Classic will help us continue our mission of rescuing, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for adoptable dogs and cats.

Blueberry was found in an abandoned building on 7/17 with her newborn puppies. She was taken into ACCT Philly and was very scared and protective of her babies. We took her into Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue on Sunday and she has been the best momma and happiest girl. Blueberry saw our vet yesterday and is said to be young herself, only about a year old. Her puppies are doing great and they are about 10 days old. Bacon, the biggest male, opened his eyes today💙. More to come on this very beautiful and extremely lucky family.
