Hi friends,

This video is a look back at the puppies we’ve had the privilege of raising throughout the years. Seeing all of these sweet faces together reminds us just how special this journey has been.

After much thought, we’ve decided that our most recent litter was our final litter and that it’s time for us to step away from breeding and focus more on our family.

Since starting Riley Family Shih Tzus in 2023, it has been an incredible privilege to raise these puppies in our home and watch them become cherished members of families across the country. Every litter, every puppy, and every family has left a lasting impact on us.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who trusted us, supported us, followed along on this journey, shared our posts, sent updates, and welcomed one of our babies into your home. Your love and support have meant more than we can put into words.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories, friendships, and the joy these little dogs brought into our lives will stay with us forever.

Today was a special one 💜

Sweet Violet, our 10-week-old bundle of love, went to her forever home today. We took a little trip to deliver her, and what made it even more magical—she was a surprise gift for her new puppy mom 🐶✨

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Seeing the joy, the excitement, and the instant connection… it never gets old. Violet is already so loved, and we couldn’t be happier for her new family.

Safe travels into your new life, little one. You’ll always have a piece of our hearts 💕

There’s just something about being loved by a Shih Tzu. 💕

It’s in their eyes, the way they follow you around, the way they just want to be close. They don’t feel like pets, they feel like family. 🐾🐶

That kind of love starts early. 💕

In our program, we raise our puppies with care and attention every single day. They’re held, socialized, and surrounded by love from the start.💓

And you can tell.

They grow into happy, confident dogs who bond deeply and bring so much joy into their homes.🐾🐾

When they’re raised with love, they give it right back. 🐾💖

Puppies + Easter = pure joy 🐣🐶💛

These little cuties were just too adorable to wait, so their Easter photos made an early debut! Happy 7 weeks to this sweet bunch. We are soaking up every snuggle, wag, and playful moment.

At 7 weeks, they’re hitting such fun milestones:

🐾 Personalities are shining through
🐾 Playtime is in full swing with their siblings
🐾 Learning bite inhibition and social skills
🐾 Exploring the world with curiosity and confidence
🐾 Starting to respond to sounds and human interaction
🐾 Weaning almost complete and enjoying puppy food
🐾 Building coordination with lots of wobbly zoomies

Every day brings something new, and we’re so proud of how much they’ve grown already. The countdown to their next big adventures is on! 🐾🐶❤️

Violet 💜 and Ivy 🌸 — our sweet Shih Tzu twin sisters who had us completely confused at birth! We could barely tell them apart in those early days, but now their unique beauty is shining through more and more each day.

Violet is turning into a rich, deep chocolate brown beauty, while Ivy has the most gorgeous honey-kissed tones, just like her dad. It’s amazing watching their personalities — and their coats — continue to change as they grow.

We can’t wait to see how these two little queens blossom in the months ahead. 🐾✨
