Sophie the dilute Calico Persian gets a teddy bear trim and face trim. She has been coming to get groomed since she was 2.
The teddy bear trim is fur cut to 3/8 inch all over except tail, mane and legs. Mom loves that it is easy to maintain and said Sophie prances around the house when she gets home.

We see an increase in grooming frequency during the Spring. Did you know cats shed more in the spring because they are losing their thick winter coat in preparation for warmer weather?
This seasonal shedding is triggered by longer daylight hours (photoperiod) meaning that as the days get longer, cats naturally shed their dense undercoat to make way for a lighter summer coat (that helps regulate their body temperature).
Are you boarding with us? Ask us about adding a groom to your boarding service and keep the fur at bay and furballs/fur ingestion from wreaking havoc on you and your kitty.

📢 Bird Flu & Cats: What Every Pet Owner Needs to Know

You may have seen recent news about bird flu (H5N1), but how does it affect your cat?

Cats can contract this virus through exposure to infected dairy cattle, wild birds, poultry (chickens, ducks), bird f***s, contaminated water, feed, and farm equipment. Even indoor cats are at risk if they consume raw or freeze-dried meat diets, as the virus can be present in unpasteurized milk and raw or undercooked meat. Freezing does not eliminate the risk.

🚨 Protect Your Cat:

✔️ Keep your cat indoors to prevent exposure to infected animals.
✔️ Avoid raw or freeze-dried meat-based diets and treats.
✔️ Watch for symptoms: severe depression, loss of appetite, incoordination, seizures, tremors, blindness, heavy eye/nose discharge, coughing, sneezing, or breathing issues.
