Mothersfield is looking for a part-time employee to join our team. The current shifts available are Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting at 4pm (approximately 1-2 hrs each).
You must have reliable transportation and a cell phone. Have experience working with large horses and be able to lift up to 50 pounds (hay and grain bags). Employees working the afternoon shift usually work alone. Applicants must be comfortable working alone, leading large warmbloods and thoroughbreds, and observant to notice abnormalities and signs of colic/discomfort.
Mothersfield is a boarding/training facility in Avon NY with approximately 17 horses. Duties include horse turn out, feeding/watering, setting grain, picking, sweeping.and other barn chores. Additional hours may be available.
