Mizar just could not wait 24 hours for me to come back from half way across the country to have her 8 beautiful beans by BOAMs Popo. At least mama and the 8 little beanlings are well! Of course I had to miss our first litter born at the new house 🫠

We have one confirmed pregnancy from the twins Mizar and Alcore! Our lovely girls from Business of a Mischief were breed to Popo grandson of our girl Peep sent to them years back! So nice to get some great grand babies of our girl. We also have Luigi pared with Cassiopeia and Aquila, and will be putting Arum with Koby this weekend having given Luigi some extra time. We are so excited!

Caging is complicated! We have a pet standard and the lab standards but where is the evidence for our info? How can we think like a rat and focus on rat first caging? I think I need to write a blog on this at this point.

Our Summer Breeding Plans Are all Set! The rat gods may change the possibilities but these are our planed breeding with a little note about our Rattery plans for Re Booting our Dwarf Program. We are so excited to hopefully have some litters in the Rattery again starting May!

The benifit of being a breeder is that I get to enjoy watching this through the generations 🥰. Even if my new stocks been delayed a bit I am still getting to enjoy the love and adoration of my girls and boys (the girls are just more insistent 😂)
