I want to apologize to my followers for the lack of posts on the rescue page. I am a full time college student as well as the sole owner operator of the rescue, so unfortunately my social media gets put on the back burner while I handle everything else.

I would like to share that I still have 8 parakeets looking for their forever families! They can go as one big flock, small groupings or pairs, or as singlets!

Today we had a heart felt reunion ❤️
I have had Roxy, Skittles, and Freyja with me for just over a year now, they came to me on an open ended hold for a dear friend who was going through a difficult time. This morning that hold came to a close and this family was back together again. This was an absolute tearjerker for Sandi and Myself, I made a promise to her that I would love and care for them as if they were my own for as long as she needed me to.
When I offer my education, expertise, and heart to parrots and their owners I mean it. I will be a life long contact for any questions, care, and needs.

I love my followers. Everyone has been so patient and supportive of the parrot rescue journey! Today I received a 10lbs bag of roudybush from an anonymous donor!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, being a full time student and running a rescue takes up so much of my time that I forget to share It with all of my wonderful followers!
I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Yvette Haralson for her donation of 2 cages to the rescue! The slowly dwindling parakeet flock is very happy with their much needed upgrade!

Grooming day for Gracie!
Due to her many disabilities Gracie has a hard time with self grooming, so every couple of weeks we do a spa day! Today she got a bath, nail trim, beak trim, and a preening session! She’s definitely feeling funky fresh now 💕🦜

I don’t believe I ever introduced little Marshmallow Peep.
Little Peep was brought to the rescue by SOUL Animal Rescue. He’s been settling in well these past few weeks, but still has a bit of a wild look in his eye 👀 He loves to chat with the other cockatiels around him.
He will be available for adoption once he’s a little more accustomed to people being around him.

Welcome home Roxie!
Miss Roxie is a Blue & Gold Macaw that is very special to my heart because she is actually a bird that I myself had produced and raised! In April she will be 5 years old.
Although I no longer breed these birds, my promises to them and their owners still stand, I will always be here to help them no matter what.
