Everyone from now until Jan was sent this text,from me. If you have an apt or any further questions, concerns, have new data that maybe I haven't seen feel free to share here. It's hard for them to officially "track " this and have proper data where it is because there is no test to find out what it is. So we may start seeing speculation on dogs in the area but it's hard to track/document with no official "diagnosis ".
I am sure most are aware of the respiratory illness hitting dogs across the U.S. they still don't know what it is or how to treat it. That being said I'm going to do my best here to avoid it. I will be going back to curbside that way no one is getting possible germs in the lobby please text/call when you pull in, I will come out to get your dog. . I also ask 2 VERY important things as I personally have a already sick dog with lung issues and lots of old dogs here I groom. If your dog has been to daycare, park,you have been traveling with your dog or the dog has been in boarding. Please cancel and postpone your grooming apt for 2 weeks. Until they know what this is or how to treat it. Sadly dogs are dying and nothing seems to be working. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. I also ask when you are given a "ready by" time. Please come pick up your dog on time. I am trying to limit and cross overs.
So if your pet is having sniffling, sneezing,runny eyes,coughing please keep them home! It mimicks a cold/allergy at first!
