Durango was so excited to be out and about again 🤩
He had a few months off after he threw his special shoes for his navicular. The farrier had come out right after it happened, but he was sore for a while and we didn’t want to push him until he was ready for some light rides again 🐴💚

🌟 Kobe here for a ride with me today 🐎
He did great ba****ck on Mr. 🧦
I’ve been watching him become more and more well rounded in his general horse knowledge over these past few months 🙌🏼 he is like a sponge 🧽

When Kobe started coming here in July he was having trouble with his mare at home and couldn’t get her to respond to his cues while on her back.
He says his mare is much better now that he’s gained more confidence in his abilities! He now knows how to ask her to do what he’d like her to do confidently and how to properly correct her if she does not respond accordingly
I love watching these horse lovers progress 🐎🤠

Wyatt & Aiyanna here this evening for some lessons 🐴

🌟It was Aiyanna’s first time in the saddle and she was great on Mr. Socks!! She even got some riding time outside of the arena

🌟Wyatt was out on Rusty stopping and turning all by himself today. I love his love for these horses. He says Rusty is his new favorite 🐴🤠

🌟Lyla had never been up on a horse. I was so impressed with this little girl!! She had amazing balance and listened so well!

He said it was his first time actually getting a horse to move around and respond to him on his own!

We are working on building his confidence and skill level so he can take it all home to apply to his own mare who’s a bit stubborn.

I love our newest auction pull addition to the CTF fam, Rusty 🤩 I’ll never stop raving about this one. 11/10. 🐴❤️🐴

Daisy May & Joy went to their new home today TOGETHER 🥰😁❤️🥺🥲

I was not going to be rehoming Daisy yet, but they are eager to keep them together (as am I) and would love to finish filling them both out.
Daisy & Joy will be so loved by this amazing family with 2 young girls.
The 15 year old in particular will be working a lot with these 2 and spending lots of time with them. She had owned a horse before, but had to rehome him when they moved and has been very upset ever since.
I am so excited for these mares and so emotional about it at the same time.
I truly love Daisy with all my heart, but we can’t keep all 8 horses. I cried like a baby when she left, but I am so happy the girls are going to a great home together!!

These mares will make 5 successful rescue rehomes in the past 4 months ❤️🐴❤️
Unfortunately, we will have to hold off on any more rescues right now. With the cost of everything rising, it is getting more and more difficult to rescue, rehab, & rehome. 💔
