Well guys the flood tried to wash us away 😅 the main structures are still standing and we are praising God for that but it has left a big mess and we have a lot of work ahead of us. With that being said we will no longer be taking client horses and if your horse is currently with us it is safe but we need everyone to make arrangements to pick up ASAP. We have no where to safely train or ride as of right now. We are in and out of service but if you’ll leave a voicemail or text we will get back to you as soon as possible. We love and appreciate each and every person that helped made our dream become reality. It’s not goodbye, just see you later!❤️ The comeback will be bigger than the setback!🙏🏼

This summer heat works wonders for the hardheaded ones and we just so happen to have a spot open. Summer spots are hard to come by but we’ve saved this one for someone who may not have had the chance to get on the books yet! We specialize in c**t starting but we also take problem horses, horses just needing exposure, something you need to sell but no time for, we will accept just about anything as long as you’re honest about it! We’ve been hauling to local rodeos and horse shows, we ride in the mountains and on the trails frequently and we’d love to have your horse in the trailer when we go! Stormy is here on consignment to find her perfect person! She is a Tennessee Walking mare that stands just a hair under 15 hands, she’s 16 years old, she’s sound, & she’s broke to ride! She’s been on the trails, the road, across bridges, through tunnels, she’s car dog & bicycle safe. As this year is coming to an end we have to give a shoutout to everyone who made it possible for us to live our dream another year. What a year 2023 has been for EK Equine!! a lot of hard work, sweat, blood, & maybe a few tears were shed too 😅 We are so so blessed to do what we love every day & we couldn’t do it without our supporters. All of the people behind the scenes, all of you guys liking/sharing our posts & of course the wonderful people who trust us enough to send their equine babies to us..None of you guys go unnoticed, we appreciate each & every one of you more than we could ever express. With that being said, we are so excited to be going into the new year with new knowledge, clients that turned into friends, & an open barn to take on new clients! Not much has changed with what we offer but in case anyone forgot -> we offer
-halter breaking/groundwork~ its important to have good control & a solid foundation on them before they get too big.
-c**t starting~ starting with desensitizing, going at the c**t’s pace, we suggest a minimum of 30 days to get a good solid start under saddle.
-consignment horses~ Need a horse sold but don’t have the time to ride/promote? We will ride the horse and promote it for you until it sells. We often travel to horse sales and know plenty of people in the horse industry, so we can get the word out in no time.
-general miles and experience~ Have a horse on the back burner but don’t want it to just be sitting? Horses will be ridden on New River Trail, mountain trails and on public roads, giving the real outdoor experience they need to thrive as a “real horse”. They also can be hauled to local arenas.
-problem horses~ Owners must be willing to rule out all pain related issues prior to sending the horse, but we will take any horse as long as you’re completely honest about the issues.
-tune ups~ just one ride or any length of time you desire, it could be first ride back after being turned out or a reminder that the rider is in charge. anything you need!
-riding lessons~ we offer lessons for all ages but we love teaching the younger generation all the benefits an equine can bring!

We can start from the ground up or just simply put miles on a broke horse that you don’t have time for. he’s big, he’s pretty, he’s sound, & sane! only being offered privately for a few more days before being consigned to a sale. his original ad—> Casey is here on consignment because he wants more of a job than his owner can provide. he is an 18 year old TWH gelding with a good set of papers, he stands right at 15.1 hands tall, he is broke the best, he trail rides, he’s traffic safe, and he’s comfortable in an arena setting. He would be a cool horse to do fun shows on. More go than woah. He’s been here about 2 months and hasn’t made a wrong step. All known info from his owner and his papers will be in the pictures. He is UTD on all vaccines, dental work, & has a negative coggins. This is a fun little horse that needs a job! He’s a little too much for his owner so we have him on consignment looking for someone who needs a good using horse. He is quirky & he will try you. He is not dangerous, just not a beginners horse. Very cowy, moves around real nice & easy, tracks a cow with his ears pinned, he’s a gamey horse and he needs a job. PM us if you want this pretty boy working for you 😍

He stands for the farrier, hauls, ties, loads, stalls, & overnights all easily & quietly. A true gentleman on the ground & a typical businessman under saddle. This is a fun little horse that needs a job! He’s a little too much for his owner so we have him on consignment looking for someone who needs a good using horse. He is quirky & he will try you. He is not dangerous, just not a beginners horse. Very cowy, moves around real nice & easy, tracks a cow with his ears pinned, he’s a gamey horse and he needs a job.
