Behind Resting Rainbow is a family, and today we’d love for you to meet one of ours.

Jason is a husband, father of three, lifelong animal lover, and proud cat dad to two beloved cats. ❤️🐱
Before Resting Rainbow, Jason worked as a mechanic and later built a career in corporate management. But eventually, he felt called to leave the corporate world behind and do something that felt more personal—something that could truly make a difference in people’s lives.

That calling became Resting Rainbow of Austin.
As a pet parent himself, Jason understands that our animals are never just pets. They are family. They share our homes, our routines, our happiest days, and some of the most important chapters of our lives.

Today, Jason’s mission is simple: to make sure every family who walks through our doors is treated with kindness, dignity, compassion, and respect during one of the hardest goodbyes they will ever face.

Some little souls come into our lives and, no matter how much time we are given with them, leave a love behind that lasts forever.
Today we remember beautiful Prim, a precious little kitten with the sweetest face and those unforgettable blue eyes. 💙 She was her momma's baby, deeply cherished and loved with her whole heart.
Losing Prim has left an emptiness that words simply cannot fill. When you love them this much, saying goodbye isn't just losing a pet—it's losing a little piece of your heart, your daily life, and all the dreams you had for the years you thought you would share together.
Prim may have been tiny, but the love between her and her momma was anything but small. That love will remain long after the tears have fallen and will live on in every beautiful memory of her.
