Calling all time change enthusiasts 😂

If you’re LOVING the extra hour of sleep you got last night and you’re thinking to yourself…”man, I would love a lazy lounge partner in my lap right now”…

Mudbug is your guy!

Mud is thoroughly enjoying the extra rest and relaxation this morning.

Mud is an absolute angel of a dog.
-10 months old
-Crate trained

-Kid friendly
-Dog friendly
-Cat friendly
-Highly teachable, corrects quickly and eager to learn
-Does not bark
-Does not chew

So if your kids are too old to trick or treat- can you take your hoard of rescue dogs door to door and use them to collect candy for yourself for when you need chocolate on an emotional rescue day?? Asking for a friend 👀

In all seriousness we hope everyone has a great Halloween! Please remember that tonight your dogs may be scared and confused by the constant doorbell ringing and the multitude of strangers dressed up like ghosts and goblins or with shiny shimmering costumes. Keep your dog (and trick or treaters) safe and keep your dogs contained tonight! If they are overly anxious they may need their calming meds tonight! Happy trick or treating ❤️ 🎃

When I started plans for the rescue ranch this was what I envisioned. A place with grass. Views of the pond and the woods, room to run, and where dogs that would otherwise be euthanized or caged 24/7 can socialize and play and explore. It’s a lot of work to make it work day in and day out but man is is worth it.

I let her have the window down a smidge because otherwise she was just breathing hot air on my neck 🤣🤣

Knowing where she came from it’s great to see her so silly and enjoying being a dog 🫶

Dot, Ginger, and Lou Lou went to the vet today! They were examined by a dinosaur so we’re pretty sure she has millions of years of experience!! They were able to get their vaccinations and got a thorough check up! They said the cookies were 10/10 but they gave the shots a -5/10, both paws down!

We’re happy to see their improvements and happy that they’re one step closer to forgetting the abuse they endured 🫶

FIVE DOGS. FIVE FOSTER HOMES NEEDED.

Five members of our White County crew are looking for foster homes, and we’re hoping our rescue community can help us find a place for each of them!

These dogs have already experienced more than they ever should have. They’ve made it out of a heartbreaking situation, but their journey isn’t over yet.

They don’t need anything fancy. Just a safe place to land, a little patience, and someone willing to show them what kindness feels like.

Fostering gives these dogs the opportunity to decompress, learn to trust, and take another step toward the lives they deserve.

For our spooky costume contest we have adoptable Elizabeth wearing a look that strikes fear into the heart of all rescuers and pet parents. Heartworms! They’re terrifying and devastating. Elizabeth should know, she was heartworm positive before undergoing a lengthy, difficult, and expensive process to be treated.

Do us a favor- if you love your dog keep them
On heartworm prevention at all times! Prevention is cheaper and keeps their heart safe from damage ❤️
