Two of our very best dogs were overlooked black lab mixes. We are so glad they picked us and we listened.

Please do not discriminate when it comes to the color of a pet whose life you are saving. Black animals are the least likely to be adopted and have the highest euthanization rate, which is absolutely ludicrous. We need to dispel such a ridiculous myth and mindset. Black animals are just as loving, and in fact, speaking from experience, I think they are the most loving!!!!! I urge you to not get caught up in the black cat and dog syndrome. There are many lives out there who are depending on us to be their voice!!!!!!!
