HI, friendos! Long time, no see! I'm coming at you with a special favor tonight concerning Hawking's (RIP) little brother. Orbit was born with no eyes, just like the Hawk. He's also a sweet, orange boy. In a lot of ways, we adopted him in Hawky's memory.

Thing is, poor Orbit's eyes have been getting infected nonstop since we've had him and two of our trusted vets have recommended that we have his eyes enucleated and the sockets sewn up. Poor guy has gone through so much already, and we want to make his life as comfortable as possible.

If you can spare anything to help us with this $2000 surgery, we will be forever grateful! Thank you, beautiful cat people!

Onyx is a special kitty with severe cerebellar hypoplasia, meaning she can't walk or stand. Her caretaker, Brian Gill, devotes his entire life to taking care of her and her brother. He has blankets placed all along the floor in his room for his kitties' comfort.

Now poor Onyx is getting constant infections in her ears and needs a surgery called a myringotomy to get better. She is only two years old, and has so much more life left to live. Please give anything you can to help this special family.

Look at this sweet girl named Michi who just found her foster (and hopefully her forever home) through my mom's rescue: Austin Odd Cats! She survived on the streets for 6 months before a good sam scooped her up and got in touch with us about her. What a fighter. Goooo, Michi!

Austin Odd Cats adopts out special-needs kitties in the central Texas area. We have a blind kitty looking for a home right now, too! Check her out, her name is Tessa, and she's the SWEETEST. She was born blind, just like the Hawk!

By now, most of you know Justin, the white, blind floof with the broken leg, who's as sweet as can be! He finally got to see the vet for a checkup on his leg, and it turns out, the break was worse than we thought.

Due to the severity of the fracture, Justin will need a full coxofemoral disarticulation -- this means his leg will be amputated at the pelvis. In addition to his amputation, he will always be receiving a bilateral enucleation -- meaning both of his eyes will be removed and the sockets sewn shut. Of course, he'll be getting neutered, too.

The estimated price for all of these procedures is between $1952-2168. Because he is undergoing such complicated procedures all at the same time, we are taking him to the best feline vet we know, South Austin Cat Hospital.

Austin Odd Cats is desperately in need of funds to pay for his surgeries. At the moment, we have 15 kittens in the rescue, all of whom need specialty surgeries, and we simply cannot afford to pay for Justin's surgery without your help.

Please, please, donate any amount you can, and share widely. This guy has such a lust for life and he deserves the best care possible. After his surgery is complete, he will also be looking for his forever home! Let's get Justin fixed!

Latest update as of 07/22: Justin is still in search of his forever home!

Everyone, meet my rescue's newest oddball, Justin! Justin came to us from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and while we knew he would need both eyes removed, we did not anticipate that he also had a broken leg!

This poor boy is only 8 weeks old, and life has already dealt him a crap hand. Despite all of his issues, Justin is still purring, loving life, and befriending all humans and animals who come his way.
