Pro tip: look where you want to go! Don’t look at your horse. It’s just like playing any sport ever. If an inanimate object responds differently to where you look and how you focus your attention so will A Horse. So remember when you are riding if your horse doesn’t go exactly how you want them to refocus on what you want, not what you don’t want. 🙌

Why do we just love the nighttime rides? What’s not to enjoy about riding at the coolest part of the day? Not all of our sunset trails go in nightfall but those that do will take you through the park and into the historical district on Horseback. IF YOU ARE NOT WANTING TO RIDE AT NIGHT THEN WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE NOT BOOK THE PUBLIC SUNSET TRAIL AS IT MAY RIDE LITERALLY INTO THE SUNSET 😂

Last night, our High intermediate through advanced group met for another cross country tour. This was a mostly trot/canter pace tour for over a dozen people! We practiced riding in twos, group cantering, and light jumping. 

You can sign up for this excursion Sunday evenings. We are trying to get Regular groups out on Friday evenings as well.

Please do be advised this excursion is for true high intermediate plus riders. We expect everyone who is a high intermediate writer has experience falling, has probably also been kicked, bit, stepped on, bucked, crow hopped, reared….. we expect all of these riders know when a horse feels off …. We expect that all of these riders are able to prepare their horse unassisted other than us simply pointing out which saddle they get. These rides are currently down to $120 per person that we would like to see them ultimately get to $95 for repeat riders.

If you are confident to come previous to the ride and do some groundwork with your horse to get to know them and prepare them and condition them, you can earn some money off of the ride!
