Everyone give a big round of "paws" for our newest ACR pack member! 🐾✨

Meet Maggie, who is a 12-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who has been battling a torn Achilles. Maggie initially tore her Achilles and was healing well but had a relapse in her injury, causing excessive range of motion when walking and leading to further difficulties with normal daily activity.

Currently, we are working with the orthopedic surgeon as well as the orthotic specialist to perform serial bracing and perform brace adjustments as Maggie gets stronger and to hopefully prevent the need for surgical intervention. Maggie is doing amazing so far with her rehab protocol and we have high hopes to get her back to her usual activities without surgery!

Let's help cheer Maggie on and give this girl all the positive vibes in her healing journey! 💪 🐶

Welcome back Stitch ! This adorable Corgi is back in rehab, this time due to a herniated disc in his spine. Stitch started experiencing severe muscle spasms in his neck and had surgery to reduce the compression on his spinal cord caused by the herniation. His rehab sessions are focused on alleviating any remaining pain and improving strength and mobility to reduce risk of future injuries. Stitch is definitely a rehab pro!

Sometimes it’s just a paw that scrapes the ground, a wobbly back leg, or a tail that’s gone limp. Early intervention can make a huge difference.
