We are Austin's adorable tiny traveling petting zoo serving the Central Texas area. We provide a unique interactive experience that combines petting and holding our lovable animals with learning facts about the animal breeds, traits, care, and handling. We even have Hoppy Hours for grown-ups! Our specialty is birthday parties for all animal lovers, kids and grown-ups! We also do traveling petting
zoos, photography and face painting for churches, schools, businesses, and pet therapy programs for assisted living facilities and other groups! Tiny Tails to You is licensed by the US Department of Agriculture. Our top priorities are the safety of our animals and on educating people about our animal friends.

Both our silkie and bantam chickens lay around 100 tiny eggs per year. But, what do we do with the roughly 1,600 eggs we get in a year? Feed them to our other animals! Our Blue Tongued Skinks, Hedgehogs, and Red Footed tortoises all enjoy getting hard boiled eggs as a special treat every week. Tell us your favorite way to eat eggs in the comments!

To celebrate, here are 3 awesome facts about our Red Footed Tortoises:
1-Red foots are native to the rainforests and savannahs of South America, where you can still find them in the wild today!
2-They love protein! Red Foots are one of the few tortoise species that need protein in their diet.
3-Red foot are one of the only reptiles who "gaze follow". Just like us, if one tortoise looks in one direction, another will follow their gaze and look in that direction too. How cool!

Happy National Bearded Dragon Day! To celebrate, here are 3 of our favorite bearded dragon facts:
1-Beardies are omnivores! They love to eat lots of fruits and veggies like lettuce, squash, and strawberries, but their favorite food is bugs.
2-Dragons can change color! Their whole body can change shades in response to the temperature, and if they get scared or upset, their beard will turn jet black to make them look super mean and scary.
3- They have a third eye! Beardies have a special scale known as a parietal eye on the top of their head. They use this eye to keep an eye out for predators. So cool!
