Last day to sign up for our Tuesday 3 pm puppy social hour aka Yappy Hour! Each week we will be slowly exposing your pup to different sounds, objects, hats, flooring, etc. Your pup will also be playing with other pups. This is so important because if your dog ONLY plays with tolerate adult dogs, your puppy could learn that having a hard mouthy play bite is acceptable. 4-14 weeks is the crucial socialization window that will help your dog build confidence and handle new things better throughout his life.

ATTN: the socialization window for puppies closes around 14 weeks. 🚨 🚨 This is a critical time period for social development that you don’t want to miss.

Each Tuesday at 3 pm we are hosting a puppy social hour. During this time they will get to romp around with other dogs, get exposed to different sounds, surfaces and novel objects. Each week we will be introducing something new (umbrellas, wheels, hats, backpacks etc). We will be treating for good play skills and positive experiences with said exposure. DM to sign up!! Limited spots available.

• . If a pup is super-socialized during this important developmental period he’ll most likely believe the world is a safe and happy place. If he’s not well-socialized, he’s likely to be neophobic, which means fearful of new things. Build confidence early so the rest of your life your pup is better able to handle this busy Los Angeles life!

NEW SERVICE ALERT: For all you need pet parents out there.. did you know that the socialization window closes around 14 weeks. The advantages of having a properly socializated dog are unmeasurable. Socialization is not just being exposed to people, places, surfaces, dogs, sounds etc. Proper socialization means learning to have a positive association with each stimuli. Normally you want your dog to meet a hundred strangers in a hundred days. Obviously there are some restrictions with covid rn but, there are still ways to work around this. We are offering a pup socialization hour. $50/hour with non contact drop offs, video and picture updates and playtime with an older well adjusted dog. Do your dog a favor and don’t let that window close!!! After 3 months, your dog will have a lot harder of a time creating positive associations. You don’t want to wait until your dog gets all their shots to start this training process, as long as your dog is currently up to date they can take advantage of this service. 🛑 stop fear before it starts but, setting your pup up for a successful life. “ Behavioral issues, not infectious diseases, are the number one cause of death for dogs under three years of age.”

Virtual sessions??? For us, this service is not something we created for the new norm/pivot protocol. We have been reaching amazing dog parents and pets all over the US and a few BRITS for as long as we have been a company ! 😉 It is a perfect time for us to not waste time convincing the benefits of livestream video sessions... but, here we are 😂.

You can learn to play piano, get in shape with a private trainer , learn Spanish, figure out how to fill out pandemic loan applications (.stead), etc. Don’t count dog training out. I love doing virtual session because it allows the dog to be in his natural environment with no “stranger danger with cookie vibes.” It allows the dog’s best trainer (the owners) to take notes, get advice and see live and video examples to practice in front of a professional trainer (eliminates the questions you have putting principles into practice and prevents your dog from getting confused while learning sign language and English. I know a lot of people are doing DIY dog training for their new pandemic pups and while I do completely support that; there is so much contradicting information out there and “old school” (to say that kindly) trainers that do an awesome job at killing the advertising game with guarantees. Let me ask you this, can you guarantee your behavior rn? If you can, I admire and bow down to you! Behavior is linear, there are no cures. Whenever you are with your dog you are training them whether you are in a session or not.

-ask us about our puppy socialization *** DID YOU KNOW this shuts off at 3 months? Even before your pup has all their shots. That time is beyond critical and it’s a door that can’t be reopened! No pressure, those first 3 months predict the future of your dog’s relationships with the world around them and everything in it. Think of it as covid rn. There’s a risk when we leave our house but, I have never seen Susan go for so many runs for self care. Anyways.... blah I have so much passion and prevention protocols to offer. I’m willing to work with people based on circumstances that we didn’t sign up for
