In response to the recent devastating floods, Bluebonnet Animal Hospital is hosting a donation drive to support Kerrville Pets Alive! and the TVMA Disaster Relief Fund — now through Saturday, July 12
📦 We’re collecting:
🦴 Unopened canned or dry pet food
🛏 Blankets & towels
🐶 Pet carriers & crates
These supplies will go directly to Kerrville Pets Alive! to assist in their animal rescue efforts.
💵 We’re also accepting monetary donations and will match up to $1,000 for the TVMA Disaster Relief Fund, which helps Texas veterinarians care for animals affected by disasters.

Did you know more pets go missing during the 4th of July than any other time of year? Make sure your pet’s microchip info is updated and their ID tags are current. If you’re unsure, give us a call!

💙 BBQ Safety:

Keep pets away from active BBQ pits to avoid burns or injuries.

Avoid giving pets fatty meats or bones, which can cause stomach upset or dangerous obstructions.

Remember, onions, garlic, chocolate, grapes, and raisins are toxic to pets. Keep them out of reach!

Say hello to Riley—a senior pup with a youthful spirit, killer hops, and a heart full of love! 🐾💛

Riley was adopted a few years ago when his former family could no longer keep him—and his new home has been all about making those golden years truly GOLDEN. ✨

He may be older, but Riley is proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks! He’s mastered paw, up, lay down, and more—all in his mature years. 🐶🎓

His favorite snacks? Romaine lettuce and watermelon—and don’t even try to hold out on him, or he’ll sn**ch it right from your hand. 🥬🍉😆

He’s incredibly nimble, launching himself up to chest height just to say hello. And wherever you go, Riley's one goal is clear: find a lap and stay there. 🛋️💕

Give it up for Lulu—a tiny queen with a big personality and an even bigger sloth toy! 👑🧸🐾

Lulu’s world revolves around three things: her cat, her food, and her treats (in that exact order). 😸🍽️🍖 Her prized possession? A stuffed sloth that’s literally her size and goes everywhere with her.

She’s got strong opinions—she hates the heat and absolutely does not approve of having her face trimmed at the groomer. No thank you. ✂️🔥😤

Lulu may be petite, but she rules her kingdom with style, sass, and a perfectly fluffed coat (just… don’t touch the face). 💅

Lucy came from humble beginnings as a starving rescue, and now she’s living her best life—with food as her love language. From full meals to her favorite snack (carrots!), Lucy never misses a chance to dine in style. 🍽️💕

She loves playing with her “sister” Snow and will grace you with a toy chase if it squeaks—otherwise, don’t push it. 😌🎾

Introducing Skyla—our sharp-eyed, no-nonsense pack supervisor and proud Golden Oldie! 🐾💙

Don’t let her looks fool you—Skyla’s got herding breeds in her DNA, and she takes her role very seriously. No funny business, no wandering off, and absolutely no tomfoolery will slip past this girl! 🐕🚫🎯

She still loves a good game of tug-of-war with her late bestie’s rope and can often be found holding watch at the front window like the neighborhood’s most devoted security officer. 🚗👀

And every Sunday? It’s zoomie o’clock at Pease Park with her crew. Because even with age, Skyla still brings the energy, the loyalty, and the leadership that makes her one-of-a-kind. 💨🐶
