The water trough sure is a popular place for our dogs!! The dogs get to play hard at the ranch and with that they will get wet and dirty. But don’t worry, we offer baths with shampoo and a blow dry 😉

Natural chew toys are the best chew toys. Good thing Green Acres is 10 total acres with tons of trees as well as running space for all the doggy fun.

Some dogs are calm and some are… well… not. But that’s okay because at Green Acres Pet Ranch we have acres of yard space for the dogs to play and burn off energy. Bring your dog by for one play day and you’ll be so impressed with his energy level after!

Dog of the month: Rufiooooooo. Blue heelers get a tough rap but since Rufio has been a regular at the ranch for two years now, he has been properly socialized, exercised, and meets lots of new people and dog friends. Bring your dog of any breed by the ranch and welcome them to the pack!

It’s mid-September folks. This (sadly) means we need to start getting our holiday plans ready. Do you have a place for your pups to stay? Book with us ahead of time so you feel comfortable knowing your dog has a safe and warm home away from home while you’re gone. Book through our link or send us a message to get started.

Weather is cooling down so that means our dogs are getting more active!! Don’t have time or energy to help your pup burn his energy off? Purchase a 10 or 20 day daycare package with us and receive 1-2 visits free! This is the best way to have dogs learn from other dogs, play with others, learn socialization and burn that energy off. Meet Zoe! She’s a Green Acres regular and loves belly scratches. There’s many reasons dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds come to the ranch on a regular basis: exercise, socialization, mental stimulation, minimizing separation anxiety, and the fact that dogs are pack animals! Is anyone else starting to think those ice and snow storms weren’t THAT bad or is that just the heat talking? 🥵 Rufio enjoys the snow as well as the heat since there is full shade, multiple pools, and full time access to the ACed kennels at Green Acres! Pippa is our Puppers of the month for August! We love having her and her brother at the ranch on a regular basis. Pippa brings so much energy to the pack and loves a good sprint. Pippa is also part of our daycare package which ends up giving her a free daycare day! Ask us how.

We have some exciting news at the Ranch! 🤩🤩 Meet our new on-site Certified Dog Trainer, Shanti!

Shanti has been training dogs for 7 years. She has trained with SeaWorld San Antonio, Military K9s at Lackland Airforce Base, and owns her own dog training business. She has experience with training aquatic mammals, cats, birds, pigs, and of course dogs.

Shanti specializes in behavioral modification, reactivity, puppy and breed management, and obedience. She can help parents obtain their AKC CGC, AKC STAR Puppy, Therapy dog training, ESA training, service dog preparations, and basic obedience.

A third baby was born! Reminder, we are still a ranch and these babies are still learning what’s safe and where to go. Please drive slowly on the ranch and keep dogs on leashes.
