SSH stepped out of their comfort zone today and came out to the Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center for their DSRP Dressage Holiday Classic Show!

Annie has been hard at work prepping Only A Certain for her dressage debut! I can’t be more proud of this teams progression this year!

Annie and Mabel have both made such progress in this new event, and even more progress as a pair. They recieved great marks from the judge on their presence as a pair, and some wonderful feedback for how to improve.

They came back 1st in their Intro Test A and 3rd in their Intro Test B! Way to go!

Huge thanks to DSRP for always putting on a great time! Thank you to Penny Reeves for all of your support and encouragement on this new venture! And of course Lily Sellers and Melissa for keeping all of us in line!

Congratulations to our team on a fantastic weekend at the GCPHC Tribute to Charlie Sasser “Margarita Classic”!

We were so happy to get back into the show pen with some many new teams. Cannot be prouder of the SSH crew on a phenomenal weekend of personals bests, placings, and good times!

Thank you to the GCPHC and STPHC for putting on a phenomenal show, thank you to the judges and ring stewards for keeping the show running smoothly! And the biggest thank you to our SSH team but especially Kolby and Jake for keeping everything clean and organized for me all weekend! Y’all are the best ❤️

SSH is proudly located at Polo Club Equine in Austin, Tx. We specialize in the APHA and AQHA All-Around, Hunters and Ranch Horses.

What we have available:

•Lesson Packages or Individual Slots, we offer haul-in lessons at a discounted rate!
•Boarding**
•Half-Training
•Full Training
•Consignment

**All Boarders must be enrolled in the lesson or training program.

Our facility includes matted stalls with fans, lights and fly system as well as 2 beautiful outdoor arenas and a newly renovated covered arena with brand new footing! The property also includes ample turn out, 2 round pens, private SSH tack room, 3 grooming bays, 2 wash racks with hot and cold water, washer and dryer, multiple people living onsite, security cameras, wifi throughout, lounge spaces, bathroom and changing area, dedicated viewing spaces at all arenas, as well as many more amenities to make you and your horse feel at home!

Congratulations to our team on a wonderful weekend at the Capitol Area Quarter Horse Association Show in Belton, Tx!

We always love attending this circuit and can’t give enough thanks to the amazing individuals and the entire club for making these weekends one for the books! To the comradery, the prizes, the exhibitor party, and everything else, we love supporting this group and everything they stand for!

Kolby and Mabel had some fantastic rides for being a last minute decision! Kolby and Mabel have both been in “English” Mode the last 6 months but held their ground in the all around in a deep division!

Lorel and Huey had a fantastic ride in the Ranch Trail their second time out, it’s been so great to see this team grow up together! Thank you to Sharon Wellman for letting me coach this team this weekend, you have done a phenomenal job with them!

✨SOLD✨

Ultimate Heat aka ”Hudson” is a 2013 APHA (RR) Gelding standing approx 15.2. This boy is for sale due to no fault of his own, just unfortunately isn’t the right fit for his new owner.

Hudson would excel with a single rider with a soft hand that has goals to show at the 4-H or Open Show level. He has made great progress since being in our program after having quite a bit of time off. He does not need to stay in a training program, but would reccomend guidance from a trainer if a more novice rider.

He is going along great on the rail and for showmanship. Has been started in an English saddle and is doing well, has also been started over poles. He has been ridden in small periods around the property but has not been “trail ridden”. I personally think this boy could excel in the Western Dressage Pen with proper training!

Hudson was nominated to the Breeders Trust (expired) and the Kentucky Paint Horse Incentive Fund.
