With season less than two weeks away, I wanna thank all the people who have brought a 2024 deer into the shop. It’s been an honor to be able to work with so many unique animals. Another beautiful kentucky buck mounted up and drying waiting to go home to South Carolina.

With season just around the corner remember handling velvet racks can damage the velvet with the heat and oils from our hands, take extra care when getting them out of the woods to not damage the velvet or the hide by dragging them if possible. When we first started taxidermy, quality was something we knew we wanted to improve with every mount. There’s never enough that you can learn when it comes to an animal. Between the way a deer eye can rotate and move to how a duck can swivel their head to look in all directions. Each mount comes with challenges but being able to bring a piece back to life and make it look like it will jump off your wall. That’s what makes it all worthwhile.

Spent the weekend at the Tennessee Taxidermy show at Pickwick Landing, I was able to receive the custom barn wood plaques top choice deer and Ariel was able to get a second place with her wood duck hen! Now it’s time to buckle down finish the 2024 deer and ducks up and start a new season!

A few more recently finished up!

Going into next week and giving a bit of an update on as far as where I’m at in the shop. July 17th - 21st the shop will be closed, as for remaining mounts I will be starting back on deer, waterfowl and a few small mammals i have left. I’ll be working on these as soon as the shop opens back up. I appreciate everyone’s patience and support!

A couple more recently put together!

I do have a few mounts I have made contact about picking up that have been here for quite some time, I would greatly appreciate it if these mounts were to be picked up. Feel free to contact me and we will get a time for pick up scheduled I am here in the shop Monday-Friday 8am-5pm closed on Sundays and will be available on Saturdays 8am-1pm unless otherwise posted.
