📞🐾 **New Receptionist Alert!** 🐾📞

Everyone, please welcome Ender to the front desk! ❤️

After carefully observing our reception team, Ender decided he was more than qualified for the position and promptly reported for duty.

His resume includes:
✔️ Expert treat detection
✔️ Exceptional tail-wagging skills
✔️ Advanced people-greeting experience
✔️ Ability to boost staff morale by 100%

While he was very enthusiastic about answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting clients, there were a few concerns during the interview process...

🐶 He requested payment in unlimited treats.
🐶 He repeatedly tried to approve snack breaks for himself.
🐶 He may have greeted every client as his new best friend.

For now, Ender will remain a valued visitor rather than an official employee, but we think he has a bright future in veterinary reception!

❤️ Give Ender some love in the comments and let us know—would you hire him?

🐾🔍 **June is National Microchipping Month!** 🔍🐾

Collars and ID tags are important, but what happens if they fall off?

A microchip is a tiny device, about the size of a grain of rice, that is placed just beneath your pet's skin. If your pet ever becomes lost, veterinary clinics, shelters, and animal control facilities can scan the chip and help reunite you with your furry family member.

💙 A few important microchip facts:
✔️ Microchips are safe and quick to place.
✔️ They are NOT GPS trackers.
✔️ They provide permanent identification.
✔️ Your contact information must be kept up to date for the microchip to work effectively.

Every year, countless lost pets are reunited with their families thanks to microchips. While we hope your pet never gets lost, having a microchip provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind.

🐶🐱 Is your pet microchipped? If so, when was the last time you verified that your contact information was current?

This National Microchipping Month, take a few minutes to check your pet's registration information—or ask us about microchipping at your next visit. A tiny chip can make a huge difference! ❤️🐾

🎗️🐾 **Pet Cancer Awareness Month** 🐾🎗️

Did you know that cancer is one of the leading causes of death in our senior pets? While hearing the word "cancer" can be frightening, early detection can make a significant difference in treatment options and quality of life.

As pet parents, it's important to watch for signs such as:
🔹 New lumps or bumps
🔹 Unexplained weight loss
🔹 Changes in appetite
🔹 Difficulty breathing
🔹 Persistent limping
🔹 Non-healing wounds
🔹 Changes in bathroom habits

Regular wellness exams and routine bloodwork allow us to monitor your pet's health and catch potential concerns as early as possible.

This Pet Cancer Awareness Month, take a moment to give your furry family member an extra hug and remember that preventive care is one of the best gifts you can provide. ❤️

If you've noticed any unusual changes in your pet, don't wait—schedule an exam with your veterinarian. Together, we can help keep your pets happy, healthy, and comfortable for years to come. 🐶🐱

May is Arthritis Awareness Month 🦴🐾

Did you know arthritis is one of the most common conditions seen in senior pets? Many dogs and cats slow down gradually over time, making the signs easy to miss. What may look like “just getting older” could actually be discomfort from sore joints. ❤️

Common signs of arthritis may include:
🐶 Difficulty standing up
🐱 Hesitation to jump or use stairs
🦴 Stiffness after resting
🎾 Less interest in playing or walks
😴 Sleeping more than usual
🚗 Trouble getting into the car or onto furniture

The good news? There are many ways we can help improve comfort and mobility for our furry family members! Treatment plans may include:
✔️ Weight management
✔️ Joint supplements
✔️ Prescription medications
✔️ Laser therapy or rehabilitation exercises
✔️ Soft bedding and home modifications
✔️ Regular veterinary checkups

Early intervention can make a BIG difference in your pet’s quality of life. If you’ve noticed changes in your pet’s mobility or activity level, we’re here to help! 🩺🐾

Today we celebrate National Rescue Dog Day! 🐾❤️

Rescue dogs may come from many different backgrounds, but one thing they all have in common is their incredible ability to love BIG. From shy puppies learning confidence to senior dogs finding a second chance, every rescue deserves patience, kindness, and quality veterinary care. 🩺

Did you know?
🐶 Newly adopted dogs should visit the veterinarian soon after adoption for:
✔️ A wellness exam
✔️ Vaccine updates
✔️ Heartworm testing/prevention
✔️ Flea & tick prevention
✔️ Nutrition guidance
✔️ Microchip checks

Many rescue pets are adjusting to brand new environments, so routine care and positive experiences help them feel safe and healthy as they settle into their forever homes. 🏡

Today, give your rescue pup an extra treat, belly rub, or squeaky toy in honor of National Rescue Dog Day! 🦴✨
