April Fools! No, We Don’t Have a Cat Cop—but We Do Have a Cat Problem

We hope you got a little chuckle from our April Fools’ joke about our newest four-legged officer. While we’d love to have a feline copper patrolling the streets, the reality is that both Aurora and Marionville have a growing stray cat population.

Please practice responsible pet ownership by ensuring that your cats are spayed or neutered. Unfortunately, we dont have the facilities to house stray cats, which means we’re unable to pick them up. Managing this issue requires community cooperation, so we’re asking for your help in keeping the cat population under control.

Aurora Animal Clinic is hosting a Spring Breeding Soundness Examination Day, sponsored by Boehringer-Ingelheim. Semen evaluation will be $55, and will include complimentary vaccination and deworming for bulls. Tritrichomonas testing will be available as needed for $55.
