💗 ADOPTED! 💗 Shandy is a beautiful, loving, 2(ish) year old Corgi mix, who is shy and quiet most of the time. She enjoys looking out the front window to watch what is going on outside and will let you know if someone is lurking on your property. Shandy is a lover of ALL windows, so also enjoys sitting on the back porch and watching the world go by. Shandy sleeps through the night snuggled up in her kennel, and this smart girl figured out the dog door pretty quickly! She is content hanging out in the office, catching a snooze while her foster mom works. She will come up and nudge my hand to let foster mom know when it’s time for some lovies. If you stop petting her too soon, she will put her front paws on your leg to let you know she is not quite finished yet. Shandy enjoys her toys and likes to run and fetch them. She likes to play no give backs and will shake the toy to make sure it’s been properly un-alived. We are working on walking on a leash and learning basic commands, like – sit, stay, etc. Our walks are more of a snifari than a walk. It takes Shandy a little time to decide if she likes someone or something, including food, treats and toys. She will sniff it and cautiously proceed when she figures out it won’t hurt her. We don’t know what Shandy’s previous life entailed, but it can take her a bit to settle in to new situations. She gets there, but she just needs a special owner who will give her a couple of weeks to feel safe. Once she is comfortable with you, you will get ALL the kisses in the world! Giving face kisses, snuggles, and ALL. THE. LOVIES to her people is her favorite thing to do! Will you be that patient person who will give Shandy just a little bit of time to feel safe? I hope so, because she’s a darling, and really wants a forever family to call her own. ♥ Won't you please give this lil' girl the 2nd chance she desperately needs?

💗 ADOPTION PENDING! 💗
Let’s get the elephant in the room taken care of. Yes, David, the 10 week old floof-a-lottamus is a GIRL. And if you’re planning on changing her name, you can’t adopt her! 😂 This is one of the most comical mishaps in PRAR history, and David is now a national treasure. Did her followers happen to notice the not so subtle, “proof of gender” photo up top? You know, that, “paint me like one of your French girls, Jack,” picture? David is a girl. It is what it is, and it cracks us up daily! David has really blossomed over the past couple of weeks. Initially she was the shy, aloof one, always hiding out by herself. But since the discovery and subsequent acknowledgement that David is, in fact, a girl, she has become the most confident in the litter! We are convinced that acknowledging her TRUE SELF helped her to grow as a pup, and we’re proud of her! David is a leader. She loves to play with her siblings, chew on all the toes in the house, cause mayhem, and snuggle sometimes, too. She is NOT a fan of grooming, though. None of them are, actually. Good luck with that because DAVID WILL REQUIRE REGULAR PROFESSIONAL GROOMING AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 4 WEEKS!
