How is it possible two from Paws R Us, Harlow and Sherman, are still waiting for their forever homes through Stray Haven Animal Rescue?!

They're both incredibly sweet and adorable, and you'll instantly fall head over heels in love with them.

Harlow is a gentle soul who's obsessed with giving kisses, and she's always down for playtime and snuggles. Her gorgeous coloring and soft fur are simply irresistible.

Sherman, on the other hand, is a fluffy boy with a goofy and lovable spirit. He's a total attention hog and has never met a stranger. You'll be captivated by this charming goofball.

Both Harlow and Sherman are great with kids and are eager to be trained as the best companions.

Parvo Journey - Day 2

Yesterday we treated the worst 3 of the parvo pups with Elanco's canine parvovirus monoclonal antibody. Thanks to our partners at Harrison Animal Hospital. Today we are treating 4 more with the antibody with the help of our friends at Noahs Ark Colerain. Due to the costly nature of the drug, it isn't something that most places will always have in high supply.

2 of the 3 that received this costly life saving treatment yesterday were up and eating and playing this morning. We are praying for similar results as we move forward. Continued donations for this litter are very much appreciated.

Due to absolutely no fault of his own, our sweet special boy Holton is back with us and looking for his special family!

What do we think his pawfect home looks like? His pawfect people? Are you home most days? Would you enjoy having a buddy to share your couch or recliner with? Have more snuggles than you ever knew you needed? Looking for a true companion?

Holton loves sitting with his people. Sitting next to them isn’t quite the same for him, he prefers sprawled out snuggling on you, think of him as a body pillow! Holton’s mobility is quite remarkable, but a smaller, cozy home where he doesn’t feel the need to use his rear stump much would be ideal. He uses the litterbox with no problem, but he needs access to a normal litter box, not a litter robot. He tolerates respectful dogs. He enjoys playful cats, he’s a very playful and fun boy. He would love to b adopted with a kitren! Not a requirement, just a dream 😽 vidoes of his playfulside in the comments below.

If you aren’t familiar with Holton’s story, he was found last summer with both rear feet gone. He underwent multiple procedures to try to give him the best stumps for long term and ended up losing one leg completely and he has one small rear stump remaining. He sort of slides as he walks and sometimes lifts his back end completely. His remaining rear stump is just bone covered by his hair, no padding. He’s adjusted remarkably well 🙏🏼 We think he’s around 3 years old.

We wanted to provide you with an update on the Aurora Walgreens kitties. We have had them about 10 days now. They’re all fixed, dewormed and have received their first kitten vaccine. They have come a long way in terms of socialization but will still need adopters who understand their needs and are willing to give them daily love and patience while they continue learning to trust. Watching a kitten (or puppy!) let its guard down and begin to relax is one of the most rewarding blessings you can be a part of ❤️ These babies must go in pairs.
