Only one more week before we start Gracie’s Horse Club! If you have a girl ages 9-13 that loves horses and hanging with friends, she won’t want to miss this summer’s Girls Club! Starting next week on June 13th we will be meeting Tuesdays 9 am to 12 pm through August 1, we will be learning all about horses, grooming, tack, safety, handling skills, and sharing the story of the classic story of Beauty Beauty together! Not to mention making friends and playing games! Message or text to sign up!

Hello friends! We have a new opportunity for homeschoolers this fall! We are thrilled to offer a new fall course, "Explore the Holy Land"! This will be a more focused class time for 4th to 8th graders. While it is focused on geography, in typical FARMSCHOOL! fashion we will be exploring history, music, culture and the Bible as we journey through the land that Jesus himself walked, and Paul spread the Good News! We will be tasting the cuisine, praying for the people of the countries we visit, and diving into their rich culture and history while the Holy Land comes alive for us and we hear God's Word and plan for His people. Class size will be limited and I recommend students be dropped off so we can have a quiet space with minimal disruptions to read, narrate, discuss and engage in the activities each destination has in store for us. If you have older kiddos and wish to stay and observe our travels, we would love to have you - I think it is going to be very engaging! For more information, please check out the link below! This will be a year long course starting mid September and wrapping up June 1. We will meet Wednesday mornings from 9 am to 10:30 am. Hope to see you there!

We are beyond thrilled to announce our summer program: Gracie's Horse Club for Girls! This was truly inspired by Gracie and her desire to have a special club to share her love for horses and arts and crafts. There is a tremendous amount of content that we have bundled into these weekly meet-ups! Girls can expect to learn about care, grooming, tack, important safety and in hand exercises, as well as share the love of the timeless classic Black Beauty. We will enjoy fun games and loads of giggles together as we hang out in our barn celebrating the love of horses. Meet ups start June 6th. Won't you join us?

FARMSCHOOL! Starts next Monday! Are you in? It’s not too late! I have a few openings on Mondays and would love to have a few more families in the Tuesday class! We have lots of fun content for spring and want you to join us in the fun! Raising chicks and all the benefits, using a compass to find your way, lanterns to light your path, and just how wolves and farm dogs related…We’ll be discovering all this and more playing and learning on the farm!

My little clicker trainer in progress. We got Freckles for Gracie based on a sales video that showed her as a super safe and quite dull kids pony. I don’t believe she was drugged, she was initially a project for a troubled teen who did some great things with her but I do believe the time in between some not so great things happened for Freckles. We made a long trip to pick her up so we felt committed to her but the more we worked with her the more holes we found. Gracie is still committed to her pony even tho she isn’t solid to ride. I’m so proud of her for learning important foundations on the ground even if it takes more time. This is where the hard work comes in, when your pony isn’t a saddle up and ride pony. When you don’t get the immediate satisfaction of riding. This is commitment. This teaches patience. This teaches discipline. This teaches humility. This teaches compassion.
