Augusta Animal Shelter The Augusta Animal Shelter cares for the abandoned dogs in Augusta. Cathy Parker is the Animal Control Officer.

Update on Cinderella. She has came a long way in 6 weeks. She is continuing to get better. She loves wrestling with my lab and gets along with all my tribe. She will be to find her a loving home. I don't never won't to see her suffering with mange or being mistreated. Thank you all for reading.

If yall remember Cinderella came in with sores and mange so bad she was almost bald. She is still healing. All of the sores are gone now and she rest easy on my couch at home. She has been to the vet and I did get her medication and shampoo to bath her with. I have once again left the shelter but couldn't leave her behind. She is such a friendly girl. Gets along great with my pack of 5 dogs.

This baby was left at the Augusta Shelter. If anyone knows the owner or where this pup came from please contact the Augusta City Hall. All help will be appreciated. I took Ciderella to Legacy veterinary clinic Friday. Dot her meds and she is now on the road to recovery. Will keep everyone posted on her progress.

The puppies are the August a shelter could really use some bedding. Old blankets,rowels, anything we can make a bed our of. Even cedar bedding that. That I can put in a swimming pool the weather is changing and these babies could use something to snuggle up with. Thank you.

I have taken my phone # off of this page because I am no longer Animal Control in Augusta. If you need help with a problem call city hall or the sheriff office. I have retired and left the shelter. I will miss the dogs but you have to let it go when you know it's time. Thank you City of Augusta for giving me the chance to take care of the dogs.
