Kevin has been one of my regular clients for several years, so he knows the routine: bath, blowout, and enough loose undercoat to build a backup Pomeranian. 🛁🐾
Once his coat is clean, dry, and fully combed out, I finish him entirely with hand scissors—shaping everything into a smooth, balanced outline with soft curves and clean lines. It may be Kevin’s usual groom, but that polished finish never gets old. ✂️

Grooming Highlight: Baby Brown 🤎🐾

Baby Brown is a tiny little Shih Tzu with the gentlest therapy-dog heart. She is sweet, calm, lovable, and has that soft little presence that makes everybody around her slow down and smile.

For her groom, we cleaned her up with a cute, tidy trim that keeps her comfortable and easy to manage while still leaving her soft, fluffy, and perfectly cuddle-ready. We kept her sweet Shih Tzu expression, shaped her face, neatened her body, and left that little tail full of personality.

And just when her spa day was wrapping up, Baby Brown had one final salon moment: a nose-to-nose goodbye with another dog coming in for their appointment. It looked like she was passing the torch like, “You’re up next. Don’t worry, they do good work here.” 😂🐾

She may be tiny, but Baby Brown brings big comfort-dog energy wherever she goes.

Grooming Highlight: Jax 🖤🐾
Jax is one of our super sweet regulars, and this visit his family decided it was time to shake things up a little.

Instead of his usual more traditional poodle-style round head/topknot, they wanted to try something with a little more attitude — so Jax officially entered his custom mohawk era. ✂️🔥
And honestly? He wears it well.

With the Augusta heat doing what Augusta heat does best — making everybody question their life choices by lunchtime — we kept Jax’s body shorter and tighter to help him stay cooler and more comfortable. Then we left the personality right on top with that mohawk, because practical does not have to mean boring.

To finish it off, Jax got his summer tie, just in time for the 4th of July. Not a scarf, not a bandana — a gentleman’s summer tie, because apparently this sweet boy had cookout plans and needed to look like the most stylish guest at the party. 🇺🇸🐩

Keegan came in for a full haircut and left looking fresh, clean, and extra handsome! This sweet boy has the kind of joyful, affectionate personality that lights up the room. His mom says he’s always ready for a playful moment, but once the fun is done, he’s just as happy settling in for cuddles.

You've seen our groomer spotlights, now get ready for our dog spotlight.

Zeke the forest wizard came in for his summer comfort groom earlier this week 🌿

Zeke is 13 years old now and one of our regular little old men. He’s had a long history of painful ear infections over the years, and eventually his mom made the difficult decision to have his ears surgically closed after working with her vet. Since then, she says he’s been so much happier and far less grumpy about having his head handled.

This groom was all about comfort — taken down short for the heat while still keeping his sweet old man expression and his legendary extra-long eyelashes intact.

And apparently he’s still out here hunting lizards before his appointments like a tiny woodland cryptid 😂🦎
