This girl sure has been trying to enjoy this sunshine! ☀️ We’re hoping the sunny days keep coming and it warms up just a bit more! While most of us are dreaming of long summer days filled with hikes, beach trips, and backyard lounging, Atlas is quietly counting down the weeks to our Fall 2025 opening! 🍂🐾

We know the snow just melted, and we don’t want to wish our spring and summer away—but behind the scenes, we’ve been busy prepping equipment, working on floor plan designs, consulting with contractors, and putting together a team that’s strong, compassionate, and ready to care for your pets when they need it most. 🛠️❤️🐾

So for now, enjoy every sunbeam and soft breeze. We’ll keep doing the behind-the-scenes work so that when fall rolls around, Atlas Veterinary Urgent Care is ready to welcome you and your four-legged family members with open arms and same-day care.

We’re starting to build our team! 🐾

At Atlas Veterinary Urgent Care, we’re excited to begin shaping the amazing team that will bring our mission to life. A few key positions have been posted on Indeed, including:

-Veterinary Practice Manager

-Lead Veterinary Technician

-Veterinary Technician

More roles will be posted soon, but we’re starting to review resumes for these foundational positions as we work to build a team that reflects Atlas' mission, values, and collaborative culture.

Our anticipated opening date is September 2025, so while we’re not rushing, we are being intentional—taking time to find the right people who are excited to grow with us from the ground up.

🌿 Porcupine Season is Here—Keep an Eye Out! 🌿

With spring arriving, porcupines are becoming more active—especially around dawn and dusk, when many of us are out walking our dogs. These prickly critters might look cute, but a curious pup can end up with a painful face full of quills in seconds.

💡 Fun Fact: Porcupines can’t shoot their quills, but if they feel threatened, they’ll swat with their tail. The quills are barbed and can embed deeply, sometimes migrating under the skin if not removed quickly.

🩺 When Atlas Veterinary Urgent Care opens in September 2025, we’ll be here for porcupine quill removals—providing same-day, walk-in care for those can’t wait situations.
