The elderflowers make the air smell like heaven. The blueberries and are *just* about ready, and the squash, tomatoes, cukes, and blackberries aren’t far behind. Apples are coming along, beans, onions, and peppers too. Plus yarrow and carrots in bloom and (not pictured) a giant crop of potatoes, tumeric, herbs, figs and more. Happy Unofficial Beginning of Summer! ☀️🌱🍅🥒😃

Just a quick thinning of our winter carrots tonight. These were the runts, growing too close to their neighbors. We pulled them to make space for more full-sized orange beauties, which we’ll harvest over the next 4-6 weeks. Yum! 🌱🥕😃

It’s limoncello time, featuring our home grown Meyer lemons. Next up on today’s menu: lemon drizzle cake and lemon sugar for future recipes. Gotta go harvest some more golden goodies first though! 💛🍋😃
