How is it already April!?! My oldest just turned 10 and my youngest is about to have her birthday. We adopted a new dog since last spring and the gardens have changed quite a bit!

Trialed and learned a lot last year; learning more about the sub placement, which beds and plants prefer to be raised or on the ground, what lasts, what doesn’t. The perfect living for someone who craves adventure and learning.

No farm stand this year I think? HOA didn’t like it, but at least I had it for awhile before I was notified! This weekends yard sale I’ll probably have a few plant starts, seeds and my littles will have a lemonade stand again!

The OG “farmstand”. Did you know I used to own a low tox “organic” salon in Savannah? I loved being able to incorporate more herbs and flowers and natural beauty into my career. Working on bringing these girlies back into the spotlight, they’re just so dang pretty how could I not?

Hoping to host The Wildflower Farmstand today (Tuesday June 25, Wednesday June 26 and Thursday June 27) in the evenings. Self Serve, honor system with Venmo or PayPal. Saturdays seem to be so busy with so many amazing events and markets, I’d rather not compete at the moment. Plus yall, this heat that somehow just arrived 🥵 evenings seem good, mellow and slow living.

Feeling like it’s time to get this farmstand moving again aka things are blooming again in the garden 🙌🏼

I’ve been happily busy behind the screen potting up some baby house plants (snake plant & spider plant at the moment), building new beds and planting zinnias, sunnies and more herbs PLUS crafting some seriously good homestead goods like natural cleaning scrub for kitchen and bathroom, a garden foraged salve for healing all those bumps, bites, cuts & summer kiddo boo boos, candles crafted from my hometowns beeswax (hello finger lakes NY!) and more.

My intention with the farmstand is to eventually grow into a stand where you can snag fresh cut flowers, organically grown kitchen herbs, stock up on herbal remedies (fun fact I’m an herbalist 👩🏼‍🌾), natural home goods and more.

I’ve been feeling like Thursday evenings and Saturdays could be some good days to test out. However I know our community hosts food trucks Thursdays (not far from me) and Saturdays are wild.

Farmstand is open today for porch pickup! Have some new medicinal herb babies and flower babies 🌱

Organically grown White Yarrow

• Benefits: wound support and astringent properties (great for oily scalps and skin). Harvest flowers AND leaves, and create a tea; mist into scalp or skin to support rebalancing. Great for fresh cuts to stop bleeding.

Organically grown Calendula

•Benefits: skin healing blends (harvest fresh blooms, dry & infuse in olive oil for 4 weeks. Strain and now you have natural “neosporin”

Organically grown Nasturtium Flowers

•Great for use in your garden to deter pests. They’ll use this plant as their host and avoid your others. I personally haven’t had this issue (yet, knock on wood). They will grow and vine over the edges of your pots or garden beds. Flowers are edible and have a slightly peppery taste!

Organically grown Red Yarrow

• Can be used medicinally, all though white yarrow is preferred. Grows beautiful little deep red blooms. Attracts pollinators. Nice bloomed you can snip the blooms and dry for floral arrangements or crafts. Comes back every year and grows runners aka new babies!

Also still have some Organic cucumber starts and organic sweet pepper starts!

In less than 1 hour! Prepping flowers, lemon balm and oregano from the garden for y’all!

You can find the farmstand at the end of the cul de sac on Bark Branch Rd, Richmond Hill GA. Look for the potted lavender & table by the driveway.

Alsooo my littles are prepping a natural lemonade stand and *might* be pulling out their playhouse as the serving spot. Can’t miss that 😍😂 $2 lemonades

And also…The details of the farmstand are just 🤌🏼 chefs kiss. Finishing up the stand tonight, scrambling to remember what I have prepped for it or what needs to be cut in the am, making sure directions are clear and pricing easily found. Feels so good and also slightly barfy because doing something you love sometimes comes with the nervous nellies.

This is an honesty porch pickup. Directions are on the stand. No cash, just Venmo or PayPal.
