Ember is being offered for an ON FARM LEASE. Owner loves him but hasn’t had a ton of extra time recently to put into him. He has been shown by an amateur in the walk/trot the past few years. He is crisp in the showmanship and executes patterns with ease. Ember long trots with float as if he was 16+ hands, but slows right down for the pleasure. Has been started in the trail, lope needs finishing. He has been pleasant to have at day shows and weekend shows. World Champion at ABRA World Show in the BBP Yearling In-Hand Trail. Top placings in the SMS, HMS, Pleasure on the New England circuits. This is the perfect opportunity for a youth or amateur that can’t commit to owning but still want an affordable way of showing.

I have two really nice horses! One for sale and one lease option.

1. 2020 AQHA Gelding, green broke. 16.1h and filling out. More “whoa” than go. Make a great local/regional partner. Has been to weekend show before to hangout, but has not been shown yet. Would love a dedicated teen who wants a project with guidance. - For Sale

2. 2018 APHA, ABRA, PtHA 15.2h gelding. Has been shown by an amateur and has done great. Could very well excel in the all around. Floaty long trot or slow right down and do the pleasure. He has been to NEPHC shows and local day shows and done well at both.
Perfect opportunity for someone who wants to show but can’t afford full ownership commitment. - Lease

I’m giving Vivian a bit of a break under saddle for a couple weeks due to her baby teeth being sore and she’s growing like a w**d! Light work for her til she gets her teeth done 🦷 , and her body has a bit to rest.

In the meantime, I thought I’d share some showmanship progress! Everything Vivian does is quite literally in slow motion. So getting her ready for the showmanship has been a challenge 😅 But super excited to see some progress has been made. 🖤💜

We spent some time outside encountering any possible distractions to get ready for horse shows! Porta potty, Guinea hens (you never know 🤣), and really big marshmallows! Per usual it was just another day for Vivian 😴

It’s always a good time when two trainers can collaborate and help each other out. I will forever be greatful for the friendship we have in such a complicated world.

Calling all DIY amateurs and youth!

I have noticed a lot the past couple summers when traveling to shows and banding, I hear “I wish I knew how to…”

Do I have a solution for you.. I will be offering Show Prep lessons for those that want to learn how to band, put fake tails in, hoof oil, and so much more!

Where to start will be by messaging me what you want to learn on your own horse and we will go from there. This will be treated like a normal lesson and I will travel to you and your horse!

Starting the young ones has always been an interest of mine. Vivian is my 3rd youngster that I’ve started from the ground up, and a staple to that process is this set up right here.

Starting them like this has been beneficial for a couple reasons… it helps me see how the horse feels about learning new things. Figuring out how long it takes for them to catch on. Knowing that helps me set a realistic timeline for them.

Also helping me find their sweet spot. How they’re going to react to new things thrown at them. What will they do when they’re frustrated? How will they show me that they’ve had enough or could keep going?

It’s extremely easy to get caught up in a timeline and compare yourself to everyone else. But most importantly your timeline should be based off you and your horse.

Vivian has been extremely willing through this whole process and I’m so excited to put my first ride on her!!
