Artificial intelligence scares me. Truth is hard to find. Corruption runs deep. But I have one of the most rewarding and humbling professions. I choose to believe that the majority of people still have compassion, the Lord works all things for those who believe in him, and AI will probably never take my job starting 2 year olds.

Here’s one that we got in to be started at the end of last week. This c**t is by a son of Metallic Cat and out of a Fuel N Shine mare. I like him. He reminds me a lot of the first horse I started when I was 12. Just a good horse. His name is Max but we call him Maximum Testosterone.

Last year Bluestem Ranch Horses and Roth Performance Horses offered a special discounted 6 month program. The first 90 days are done by Micah Bayless and the last 90 days are done by Frank Roth. We had lots of interest in it last year and we are talking about the possibility of doing it again. Frank and I will iron out the details before we nail anything down. We are wanting to see what kind of interest we will have in the 2027 calendar year.

Naturally when a guy is trying to do the best he can do, he analyzes his work and makes sure he’s checking all the boxes. For myself, for the horses, and for the clients. I was sitting at home today trying to rest but I couldn’t shut my mind off. So I came out and got to work. We are full to capacity right now and I’m thankful that, in just 3 years of doing this full time, we’ve seen the success that we have. Horses are tough and each one is different. But I’m really happy with the product we are turning out. This gelding has been here a little over 90 days.
