We used a c**t I’ve had 90 days to start teaching Weston how to stay loose and put the first ride on one. He’s an awfully good gelding. Weston’s been working for rothperformancehorses and Bluestem Ranch Horses for 2 years now and he’s starting to become a good hand. He put the first ride on a son of Badboonarising for me this morning. I’ll post that video later.

I’ve got a pile of fresh ones in to start. This filly here is by 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 | “Harms”

I spend a lot of time in this spot right here. To some that don’t understand, it looks mindless. To me, it’s both softening and exposing. At the very beginning, I’m tying the lead rope to their feet and looking for weak areas that need attention. Whether it’s stiff spots that need sensitized or touchy spots that need desensitized. All while never losing controlled movement.
