Much respect for this business ❤️
Educating clients on what group play looks like and MOST IMPORTANTLY supervising pups while they are outside playing!!!! 🙌🙌
Oak Road Farm Pet Spa and Boarding comment on this video:
"A lot of people come to me and say "My dog had scabs or scratches from boarding at the last place we went to". And this is such a valid concern! We always want to be monitoring play and activities and checking the dogs over at least once a day for any scrapes or scratches... but, on the flip side:
As seen in the video, dogs play with their teeth and their paws (claws) . Like we use our hands to wrestle they use theirs, but they have nails!
They also use their mouths, which have a nice set of teeth! So, it's not necessarily that your dog was in a fight, they might have been having the time of their lives playing with a furry friend and got a nail or a tooth scrape! It's also why it's very important wherever you go, some one is ALWAYS in the play yard monitoring play. Play can turn aggressive if a pup gets clipped too hard with a nail or tooth and gets hurt.
Watch how wild these pups play! I'm always watching body language and listening for yips or whines. It's also why I call Ginny off at the end. Ginny LOVES everyone, but some times she can come on strong and Freyas body language shifted.
So, it was time to break up the interaction 🥰"
